REACTIONS TO THE REPORT

Here is the analysis by The New York Times.

in a scathing op-ed in The Washington Post, George Conway, husband to Trump’s counsel, Kellyanne Conway said Trump is a cancer to the presidency and congress should remove him from office. Below is standout quote from Conway’s opinion.

“Still, the special counsel’s report is damning. Mueller couldn’t say, with any “confidence,” that the president of the United States is not a criminal. He said, stunningly, that “if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state.” Mueller did not so state.”

Trump on the other hand, took to Twitter with a juvenile post fashioned with Game of Thrones graphics, to celebrate the non-existent exoneration by his Roy Cohn, Attorney General William Barr.

BARR MISLEADS THE PUBLIC TO PROTECT TRUMP IN BIZARRE PRESS CONFERENCE

Before releasing the redacted report, Attorney General William Barr held a press conference to put a favorable spin for Trump. On multiple occasions, Barr used Trump’s favorite phrase “no collusion, no collusion, no collusion,” like a broken record. The report, however found numerous links between the Trump campaign and Russian-linked entities.

Barr’s ridiculous and misleading presser led Huffington Post reporter Amanda Terkel to state Barr might have as well worn a MAGA hat to the press conference. And for visual effect, created the illustration below of Barr in a MAGA hat.
